My husband and I went to the studio one evening to experiment with using his DJ/event lighting and effects to light a few self portraits of us in my Hamilton OH studio :) we got nice and sweaty setting up for this before taking the photos D;
We zoomed way into an old black and white photo (projected behind us), uplit with a few wireless uplights, and spotlit ourselves!
