These are images from a quick test beauty shoot I did with model Katy Ngo in my Hamilton studio. She was a great model to work with! Sarah Crain was the HMUA. Our concept was relatively simple… just purple, hah — both Sarah and I were aiming to experiment and learn with this shoot (and of course meet Katy!) The purple gradient behind the lovely model was created with a gelled light (flagged) pointed at a gray backdrop.
